I. STATEMENT OF PHILOSOPHY
The Board of ASSG believes that in order to build a Christ-centered community and a learning environment consistent with our Mission Statement, certain standards and practices must be clearly stated and consistently acted upon. To this end, we, the Board of ASSG, desire to to give clear guidance to teachers, parents, and particularly to our students in identifying behaviors which would be inconsistent with our ideas of young Christian men and women, and the consequences that would follow infractions of the Code of Conduct.

Protocol for offenses committed
The teacher/adult who witnesses the infraction will speak to the student about it as promptly as possible. It will be made clear to the student if he has committed a reportable offense as named above (eg. first time late to class is not reportable; fighting is). The dignity of the student will always be upheld.
We ask that teachers/adults inform the President or Vice President of reportable infractions committed by a student. An accurate record of offenses and action taken will be kept by the President team.
A member of the President team will contact a parent.
If a student commits a second infraction, the student’s parent will again be notified. There will then be a meeting of the student, the parent, and either the President and/or Vice President, and the teacher, if appropriate.
If a third infraction is committed by the student, serious disciplinary action will be taken. This may include suspension or expulsion for the student.
