So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31
1. Students must be on time for classes. Students are required to participate fully in all classes in which they are enrolled. This includes completion of all assignments on time, being alert during class, taking notes, and entering into discussions and activities.
2. If the student comes to class without the assigned work, the parents must send a letter of explanation. If this should happen with any frequency, the parents will be contacted by the teacher and the student may be asked to leave the program.
3. Students must be uphold the ASSG Plagiarism Policy and follow their individual teacher’s instructions in regard to collaborating on homework with other students.
4. Students must stay in the appropriate area of the building and may not leave the building without permission or supervision. Be respectful of others' property and other people working and having classes in the building. Remember, we are guests in the building. If we are not courteous, we may not be invited back. No gum chewing in the building.
5. No yelling, running, or rough-housing with other students. Refrain from any behavior that is distracting to other students during class time. If a student refuses to respond to the correction of the teacher for any inappropriate behavior, their parent will be contacted and they will be asked to leave for the day.
6. Cell phones must be turned off and stowed during class unless they are being used according to a teacher’s instruction. Teachers will be required to take from students any electronic devices that are not stowed and hold them until the end of the school day. Students may check briefly for a text from home during lunch, but may not spend time on their phones. Laptop use in Study Hall is described in our Study Hall Policy.
If we find that a student has repeatedly had their cell phone removed, or if the use even one time violates the mission of All Saints Studies Group, that student may lose the privilege of having a cell phone at school at all, or may be asked to leave the program. Any serious cell phone infraction will be reviewed by the board and an appropriate penalty will be determined.
No cell phone use in bathrooms, including photo and video.
Photos or videos of other students taken without their consent and posted on social media will be construed as bullying. Bullying will not be tolerated at all.
No violations of the privacy of another will be tolerated.
No ear buds, headphones, or other bluetooth devices should be at school. Their use in school will be treated as a cell phone use above.
7. Develop healthy relationships with other students. Strive to be imitators of Christ in all you do. Welcome new friendships, speak kindly, include others, treat others as you like to be treated.
8. Students must adhere to the dress code. See "Dress Code."
