Clean Up:
As good stewards, students are expected to leave the building in the same condition or better than we found it. This includes classrooms, hallways, bathrooms and the cafeteria. Each student is expected to wipe down the table (s) they have used at lunchtime and sweep under the table(s) as well.
Lunch Time Guidelines - Our lunchtime goal is for the environment to be peaceful and enjoyable for everyone!
Students must eat in the cafeteria or outside; picnic tables are available. Food should not be eaten in other parts of the building. No running, loud or physical play indoors. Outside play is permitted only in the area of the parking lot protected by the cones, not in the woods, the side parking lot, or other parts of the parish property. Students may go to Eucharistic adoration in church after notifying the lunch monitor.
Students may eat lunch outside in the coned area in the back of the parking lot. They should always be visible from the school windows. They may not congregate around cars. If a student needs to retrieve something from a car, they will go alone and not in a group. Students also may go outside during a study hall in the afternoon, but not in the morning. Same location: in the coned in area, visible from the school windows. Not in the woods. (When the grade school co-op is present outside), please respect the crossing guard helping younger kids cross to the play area. It will greatly help the cause if you will cross in the same manner as the younger kids, by the speed bump. The safety of little people depends on it. Thank you, again.
Students MAY NOT leave the school grounds during the school day until they are ready to go home. If a student should leave the school premises during lunch time, the privilege of going outside will be revoked, and any further infractions may result in dismissal from ASSG.
