1. The parent remains the primary educator of the child. Examine all homework turned in and received back by the student. Monitor grammar, neatness, and the student's understanding of the material. Continue to foster enthusiasm for learning and discipline in academics and morals.
2. Parents must attend any required meetings requested by teachers or administrators. Parents have the opportunity to serve our program as the monitor of study hall. The shifts will be 3.5 hours each. A few morning shifts will be available in addition to every afternoon that ASSG meets. A monitor will be paid $30 for each shift. The sign up link with further details is here.
3. We strongly encourage parents to communicate directly with teachers regarding their child's progress and/or to address any concerns. Please be prompt in responding to communication from a teacher about your student. If a parent is uncomfortable addressing an issue directly, they should approach a member of the Board of Directors for support. Give teachers timely information regarding the student's attendance or work.
4. Parents have a responsibility to respect and encourage all guidelines. They must also ensure that their students adhere to the "Code of Conduct," "Illness Policy," and "Dress Code." Please keep students home who are ill.
5. Pay tuition promptly.
6. Be sure that your student is properly equipped for his/her classes.
7. Complete the registration form, permission form/waiver and family contract, in their entirety, for each child.
8. Parents are responsible for keeping their student's high school transcript and awarding credit for classes. Grades will be recommended by the instructors.
