FREEDOM (A)
Freedom is given
Freedom is a choice
Freedom is given a voice.
Freedom is strong
It is bright
Freedom gives you the right to fight
MADISON
FREEDOM (A)
The slaves who were in slavery should have had a right to be paid when they worked. The slaves should work only 4 hours because there masters made them work for 7 hours. I think slaves should have freedom. Freedom is when you can do as you please and that's why slaves should be free.
TRUTH (D)
The truth isn't wrong, it's right,
The truth gives you the power to fight.
The truth isn't black or white,
The truth allows you to see the light.
The truth doesn't choose sides,
The truth is always worth mentioning.
Truth is Power!
THE COLOR OF PEOPLE (B)
When people aren't the same color you tend to bully them, or people bully you. For example, when people are white and you are black, they can be mean because they don't like you. It shouldn't matter what color you are.

PUT BEHIND BARS (A)
There is no reason for slaves to be hunted by people who just want money. These people should live there own lives and not be controlled. They should have freedom and peace. The controllers don't care, they just want to be the richest people alive.

PAINTING (A)
Painting A shows a man holding a "Freedom," sign, meaning slavery should be abolished and people should be free. Also that people that are black, should have and be shown more respect. This man is showing everyone should be free.
TOGETHER WE CAN BRING PEACE (B)
Together we can bring peace by helping each other out; not just family but friends too. We are all humans and should be friends to each other. Nothing can stop us if we work together. We have to think of a way to protect our communities. In this picture I see peace, friends and family helping each other. We have to work together to live.
THE SLAVE THAT WANTED TO BE FREE (B)
One day an old man wanted to be free after 75 years of being a slave. So when his master told him to go pick up some things from the store, instead he picked up some paint and wrote freedom on a piece of paper and showed his master. His master set him free.

THE MAN WHO BECAME BRILLIANT (B)
David was a likable boy who was not respected in school because he was black. Nobody played with him or talked with him. It was all very prejudice. One thing about David, he was the only black kid but worked harder than anybody else. David was at the top of his class. David grew up and went to NYU while his classmates had to take 4th grade over again. David became brilliant. He was the person who knew he was perfect just the way he was.

THE SUNSET OF RACISM (B)
racism is finally over,
When the sun seems to hover,
In the eats and west,
We now can be our best.
I may have lost part of my arm,
But that doesn't mean we can't harm,
Blacks and Whites weren't in diversity,
But now we can go to the same university.
TRUTH (D)
There is a story about a man who took all of a woman's power. It was a true story from the 1960's. One day a man married a woman. The man lied and said he was a painter because the woman was a painter. Also, he told the woman his wrist was hurt so he could not paint. Clearly he was lying. The man made a plan. The plan was that the woman would paint and he would take credit. The woman excepted. The man became rich and famous from the woman's paintings. One day the woman moved and said to the world through a microphone, I made those paintings. The man said she was lying. They both went to court and was asked to paint. The woman painted perfectly but the man lied and said his wrist was hurting. He never told the truth.
COURAGE (D)
Everybody gets blue,
Everybody has something to do,
It's okay, please don't hide,
Don't be afraid to show your side.
Tell the truth; please don't lie,
Tell me why your acting sly,
Is it because of your design?
Because in my opinion, I loves your lines.
You might not have hair,
But sometimes you have to dare,
You have to come out of the shadows and don't hide,
But have the courage to show your side.

FREEDOM (A)
When I look at painting A, it reminds me of Mysteries at the Museum. This is the story of how one document changed slavery. It is 1 inch long by 2 inches wide. It is written with ink.
It's 1839 in South Carolina. Innocent slaves are forced to fight against North Carolina. Congress does not approve of this idea. 60 people were killed and 100 wounded. Congress needs something to prevent more deaths and fast. Will they make it in time.
Congress states that slavery is abolished in South Carolina. Congress donates 2.5 million dollars to hospitals. This how one document changed the world.

THE FASTEST BLACK OLYMPIC SWIMMER (B)
At school I signed up to be in the school olympics. I felt bad because there were only white children . They kind of made fun of me but that didn't matter. I was just having a good time on the day of the olympics. They said no one will remember me but I didn't care and I won. It was all with hard work. Because I was black I was made fun of but that didn't matter. What mattered was that I had fun.
TRUTH (D)
Truth is real. Truth is knowing what you should do and what you should not do. Truth is amazing
TRUTH OR FALSE (D)
Me and my friends were walking in the woods then we bumped into a guy. We noticed he was able to tell if we were saying something true or false, so we started to play the truth or false game. I said, " I always do my chores." He said, "it was false, and that I needed to be taught a lesson."
The truth is necessary. The truth has no agenda. The truth is right every time even if you don't want to tell the truth, it is always right.
ASAR
TRUTH (D)
The truth is real. The truth tells the difference from what is wrong and what is right. The truth is power and nothing can change the truth.
