MY DRUM SPEAKS THE VOICE OF MOTHER TERESA

Known in the Catholic Church as Saint Teresa of Calcutta, Mother Teresa was an Albanian Indian born in 1910. in 1950 she founded the Missionaries of Charity which had over 4,500 sisters and was active in 133 countries in 2012. The mission of her ministry is to help people dying from HIV/AIDS, leprosy, tuberculosis and many other diseases. Providing services like soup kitchens, dispensaries and mobile clinics are also a part of the mission. In 1979 Mother Teresa was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. She died in 1997 at the age of 87.
