transitioning workplace support

You should seek to support transgender / nonbinary employees who may wish to transition while employed by you.

Here's a great example of another company doing it:

Process (and training and support) available for manager of the person transitioning

  • for example: what you need to do (tactical) to get our systems updated to be correct

  • for example: Suggested ways to be supportive and ways to support the person in deciding when and how to come out to their team and GitLab at large. (possible templates and conversations)

Medical support from our healthcare provider, financial and alternate support by GitLab itself our any of our employee assistance groups
