Nicole's Suggested Dailies

  • hit all rocks (don't break them!)
  • shake all hardwood trees
  • chop wood from all trees and store
  • harvest all fruit
  • pluck non cross-breeding flowers
  • water all cross-breeding flowers
  • plant a money tree (10k)
  • harvest old money tree
  • find 4 fossils
  • find message in a bottle (rumor iis 2x per day, i haven't seen it)
  • Nook's Cranny
    • Check whats for sale at nook's cranny
    • Craft and sell hot item of the day (nook's cranny)
    • Check turnip prices (twice a day, before noon and after noon)
  • Resident Services
    • Check the nook stop (shop, miles, ABD)
    • check lost and found
  • Check able sisters clothing shop
  • talk to all villagers - one will be in their home doing DIY and will share the recipe with you
    • There can be up to 3 DIYing villagers per day (not at the same time, morning afternoon and evening)
    • If your friends come over they will give the *same* recipe to them
  • Find and chat with your island guest (NPC) of the day (can be >1 day but not at the same time, can also teach visitors)

Warnings

  • Maximum 8 inclines per island and 8 bridges per island
  • There is a maximum number of trees per island - 220 (link)
  • If you break more than one rock in a day, they only respawn at 1 per day

FYI

  • If you time travel your turnips will rot
  • You lose 20% handling fee using the dropbox!
  • Wishing on stars - they make a noise, when you hear it look up with nothing in your hands and press A, next day check the beach for star parts
    • be sure to clear beach of everything so they can keep respawning they don't appear all at once. maximum 20 stars when you visit someone else' island
    • 20 max on own island and on islands you visit. 0 Max Star Fragments from Visitors' Wishes You get 1 Star Fragment for every 5 wishes your visitors make. A separate 20-fragment limit applies to visitors' wishes.

    • need more star fragments? note date of meteor showers and if you time travel, travel back to them they stay static
  • Popping balloons - they make a wind noise and happen every 5 minutes and swap start point left - right, right-left based on time of day. If you pop them over full areas or water they will glitch and disappear / get lost.
  • Keep grabbing everything on the beach through the day as they respawn fast and only so many stars appear at a time it seems
  • You want hardwood trees because they spawn cherry blossoms, furniture, coins, etc. Note they do also spawn wasps

  • Refresh - force a refresh by going into and out of buildings (get ants etc) also causes loss of balloons etc

NPCs

  • Some NPCs only work on your island (CJ, Flick)
  • Sahara - will sell to you on other peoples' islands, and if you leave and come back she will sell again on another persons island but not your own. The PAID wallpaper and floor are fixed each island for that day, but the ticket ones are random (could be a limited set, TBD). Be careful if you do tickets first she may give you the same as if you buy with bells.
  • Celeste will give you a recipe each day you encounter her, on all islands (on your island or a friends). She is aware and you can't get two per day by having her on two islands. She gives each person a different recipe. She can not be tricked by leaving and coming back to a friends island even if they restart.
    • Time travel - if you have Celeste on your island and get her DIY, time travel ahead a day and enter the game, time travel back to the current day with Celeste - she has a different DIY - thanks tabdido
    • On your island you can only get max 40 fragments the next day
    • On a friends island you can only get max 20 fragments the next day
    • If your pockets are full she will NOT offer you a recipe
    • She does *not* show up EVERY time there is stars, she shows up once a week maximum if weather conditions are correct
  • Jolly Redd (Art Dealer) - you can buy once per day you encounter him, on all islands (your island or a friends). You can buy furniture as many times as you encounter him though. He can have more than one real art at a time. He will sell to other residents and visitors.
  • Wisp - If you fail to get all wisp's parts he will return another day
    • Second Resident can also encounter wisp same night even after other player has completed the mission

  • Gulliver - If you don't find gulliver's parts / ignore him, you'll get more rusted parts in lost and found the next day (these are apparently input for a DIY) and he'll be gone.

    • time travel - go back in time to a day with Gulliver, do it again, get a different gift the next day
  • Label - Won't talk to off island visitors. Will challenge each island resident only once per day to show a specific fashion style and give you a clothing item to inspire you. After completing the challenge you will get a reward item and mailed tailor's tickets work 3k in able sisters shop the next day.

  • KK Slider
    • On your island, the FIRST song that is requested, by anyone, by name (exact match only) you'll get it free! https://animalcrossing.fandom.com/wiki/K.K._Slider_song_list_(New_Horizons) must match exactly. The song will be in your pocket if no one is visiting. It will arrive the next day in the mail if someone is visiting. Any subsequent songs requested will be played but no free track.
    • You can request but not get songs on someone else' island

    • Same nook shopping and nook miles items available
