CALL FOR PAPERS
ASIAN CONFERENCE ON MEMBRANE COMPUTING
ACMC 2012 { Wuhan, China, 2012
Goal: Membrane Computing is a branch of Natural Computing inspired from cell structure and functioning,
well developed both at the theoretical level and in what concerns the applications (mainly
in biology and biomedicine, modeling ecosystems, and approximate optimization). Since 2000, each
year an international meeting devoted to membrane computing takes place; up to now, all such conferences
were organized in Europe. In 2012, CMC (Conference on Membrane Computing) is organized
in Budapest, Hungary, from 27 to 31 August. The present meeting, called the Asian Conference on
Membrane Computing, ACMC, is meant to be a regional version of CMC, aiming to bring together
researchers working in membrane computing and related areas, mainly from the Asian region, without
being restricted to this geographical area. A series of tutorial presentations are planned, both in
English and Chinese.
