The Ann Arbor Video Interest Group (A2VIG) is an informal group for anyone involved in or interested in video in any way. It provides a forum for participants to share what they're doing with video and related disciplines (e.g.audio, motion graphics, voice-over, etc.) for the purposes of educating each other and keeping up with all of the rapidly changing technologies impacting video. A side benefit of the group is networking to know who can provide what services and equipment for various levels of video planning, production, editing, deployment, etc. Numerous business connections have been made through the group.
The group includes university and community college video people, community television staff, media companies, startups, small to large video production companies, citizen journalists, and students.
A2VIG meets 6:30-8:00 pm the second Wednesdays of most months and currently has 64 regular members and another 56 potential members and one-time visitors. Visit www.a2vig.org for more information.
