Illusion spells now simply work like alteration buffs. These costs are fairly high, but make illusion viable for atronachs and non-robed warriors while still giving pure mages with big magicka pools an advantage. Illusion buffs no longer scale with skill, either.
Blur has been nerfed a lot, but it is percentage based now instead of flat reduction. It will be more likely to save you from a lethal archer but won’t make you immortal vs weak archers. (grants 33%/50% reduction)
Side effects of many spells have been significantly buffed and some of the absurdly expensive higher-tier spells are cheaper to cast.
Fog of Shadows buffed, and will allow you to affect even dragon priests semi-reliably.
Empowered Phantasmal Killer can now kill virtually anything, but it has to proc first. (so you’ll have to use fog of shadows to enable it vs dragon priests, dragons, ebony vamps) Currently seems to have about a ~15% chance to kill a priest after fog of shadows for reference. It also no longer takes 4 seconds to kill enemies when empowered (the delay to allow the wrist slitting animation to play isn’t needed when the animation is skipped).
Experimental change which should possibly prevent npcs from glitching out occasionally when doing their animation.
Mistress of the dark now applies fog of shadows with melee attacks.
