Magicka costs and casting times are increased. Master level spells are the slowest to cast, taking 3 seconds to be cast when charged.
Actors raised by the “Raise Dead” line of spells have zero magicka without Dark Infusion, which is higher skill now. This should hopefully help to mitigate the issue where NPC vampires and warlocks repeatedly resurrect themselves but it also prevents players from using enthralled mages and vampires to mop the floor with most content. May have to remove a few instances of Dark Infusion from NPCs.
You no longer regenerate magicka while a summon is active. If you don’t take Extended Binding you get 50% duration reduction on your summons.
Bound weapons are cheaper and Bound bow is now an apprentice spell. Bound weapons penetrate armor far more effectively, their perks need somewhat less skill to select and they last much longer when perked.
Bound dagger is now a silent spell in order to fit in a sneak build.
Mystic Binding : gives silver attribute to all weapons. Mystic weapons last until sheathed instead of 2 minutes.
Maelstrom (the soul trap perk) gains a small irresistable damage component (4 for dagger, 7 for sword, 14 for bow/axe).
Mystic disruption buffed from 20% to 33% armor pen.
Perks are now available at 30/50/70/90.
