SENIOR CELEBRATION! SUNDAY JUNE 2, 2024
Hello Senior Families!
Please save the date Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 5:30pm-8pm for the Senior Celebration Dinner, an annual tradition of celebrating our Seniors as they complete their K-12 journey! The celebration will take place in the SHS Arena, with a fun slideshow of the students. Seniors and their parents/guardians are invited to this exciting evening.
New this year, yard signs to celebrate your graduate!
Watch your email in late April for detailed information about this event. All you need to do now is save the date!

BEFORE RECEIVING YOUR 5 (five) COMMENCEMENT TICKETS:
The following items must be taken care of before rehearsal:
Student fees must be paid in full
Textbooks returned in any classes that issued them (if applicable)
Any borrowed technology (Chromebooks, iPads, etc) must be returned to the main office
Athletics uniforms (unless your season is continuing beyond June 3rd) must be returned to the main office.
Complete the Senior Exit Survey from Student Support Services (School Counseling Office). This has been sent to your school email.
If attending a college, update this in Naviance under the Colleges tab.
1:30pm - Senior arrival time (this is a great time to get a pre-ceremony pictures)
1:45pm - Guests may begin to enter auditorium (tickets required)
2:00pm - Seniors report to Studio Theater
2:30pm - Commencement Ceremony begins
At the conclusion of the Commencement, all graduates and guests are invited to the SHS Library for dessert and beverages as an after celebration.
OTHER IMPORTANT ITEMS FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION:
A professional photographer will be taking pictures backstage right after the diploma has been received by each graduate. These photos will be made available to graduates/families within a week following the ceremony.
The ceremony will be live streamed via the Shorewood School District Youtube channel. The link to the live stream will be coming soon!

Looking for volunteers - COMING SOON
Hoping to get more than 5 tickets to the 2024 Commencement?
Here is a great opportunity for Parents/Caregivers of the Class of 2024 to earn extra tickets for next year's ceremony.
Parent/Caregiver volunteers will be needed to help at this year's Commencement.
Positions include ushering, handing out programs, and collecting tickets at the doors to the Auditorium.
Sunday June 9 - Commencement starts at 2:30PM
Volunteer Start time ~1:15PM - 2:45PM.
