The Student Services Department is committed to assisting students with their career exploration. Beginning in elementary school students are introduced to careers and begin the process of understanding their skills and interests. As students continue to grow and develop, they are more formally exposed to the concept of career planning.

Naviance is a comprehensive website that helps students make plans for college and career success. Naviance Student is a product of Naviance Succeed. This site provides students with career assessments that reveal potential careers matched to students interests, as well as the colleges that offer matching majors.
All students and each parent/guardian have an account to access this website. Parents may contact Student Support to set up parent(s) account(s).

This unique online platform integrates secondary to postsecondary program of study development with student academic and career planning within the Wisconsin career clusters framework. Students may be interested in working with Big Future.org for college, career, and transition planning. Students can take the career clusters student interest inventory, research colleges and careers by pathway, check out their high school’s programs of study, and build an individualized learning plan in a secure environment known as MiLocker. WICareerPathways provides a way for students to connect high school coursework to college and career focused goals.
Finding a job can be a difficult task. Zippia provides a "Job Search Tips for High School Students" guide that can students search, prepare, and be hired. In addition to the comprehensive of list of employers who hire high school students, the website also provides general tips to help students land the job as well as strategies for balancing work and school.
