College Planning
Planning for college can be an exciting, albeit overwhelming, part of your junior and senior years. Do not hesitate to sit down with your counselor to discuss any questions or concerns you may have about your post-secondary future.
Application Process Review
Completed application (with essay and payment: Common App, private application, UW system).
Send your transcripts and letters of recommendation
Requesting a teacher letter of recommendation (should be done during the spring of your junior year)
Requesting a transcript (should be done only after you have submitted your college application(s))
Add college to "Colleges I'm Applying to" list on Naviance
Complete blue transcript request form for each college you are applying to
Send in your tests scores by visiting ACT.org or collegeboard.org (*if required - many schools are test optional and many schools allow you to self-report your score on the application)
Read ALL emails from colleges in which you have applied and regularly check online portals to track application status.
