A designated quiet room will be available throughout the day for anyone who needs a moment to rest or recharge. Wellbeing advisors, counsellors, and mentors will be on call if you'd like someone to talk to, and refreshments will be provided. The space includes access to a balcony for fresh air and features soft fairy lights to create a calm, soothing atmosphere. A range of mindful, calming activities will be available, including yoga mats, crochet and knitting packs, colouring sheets, jigsaws, and mindfulness activity guides.
We understand that networking during breaks can be one of the most challenging aspects of a conference, especially if you're feeling overwhelmed, new to the community, or unsure where to begin. To help ease this, our communal spaces have been thoughtfully designed to encourage gentle connection and offer a range of low-pressure ways to interact. You’ll find conversation starter prompts on tables, relaxed games and creative activities to engage with, and designated areas for quiet listening – featuring calming music and selected podcast episodes. Whether you’re looking for a chat, a distraction, or simply a space to be around others without pressure, there’s a place for you.
Catering will be provided throughout the day, including snacks, hot and cold drinks, and a nutritious lunch. For the main lunch, we’ve created a build-your-own menu with all ingredients served separately, allowing you to tailor your meal to suit your dietary needs and personal tastes. Whether you have allergies, intolerances, or just prefer more control over what’s on your plate, this flexible format is designed with you in mind. All items will be clearly labelled, and options will include vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergen-friendly choices. Quiet eating areas will also be available for anyone who prefers a calmer space during mealtimes.
Throughout the day, volunteers wearing easily identifiable badges will be available to assist you. Don’t hesitate to approach them if you need support, have questions, or require information about the event.
If you’re unable to locate a volunteer, simply scan this QR code to send them a message. They’ll respond as quickly as possible. QR codes will also be displayed around the rooms for your convenience.
