What am I good at?
I am good at working together with a range of people to take part in research that makes a real, positive impact on people's lives. Outside of work, I enjoy practicing yoga and barre, and going to live music events with my friends.
How am I helping with the project?
I am a qualitative researcher on this project. This means that I look at people's experiences, feelings, and opinions around ISFs.
What is important to me?
I previously worked in Adult Social Care at my local council, and in the NHS. In both of these jobs, I supported adults with learning disabilities. Therefore, it is important to me that adults with learning disabilities are supported to live meaningful and self-sufficient lives, respecting their right to make decisions, be in control of their own lives, and actively participate in society.
