These ISF toolkits have been developed by the EQUALD project at the University of Sheffield, and have been co-produced nationally with carers, people with learning disabilities, commissioners, social workers, support providers and researchers. There are two toolkits, with six resources (see table below for descriptions):
Toolkit one will support local authorities and support provider organisations in the development, provision, and governance of ISFs.
Toolkit two will support adults with a learning disability and their allies to make decisions about whether to take up the offer of an ISF and how to get the most from an ISF.
These toolkits will be freely available in June 2025, if you would like to be contacted when the toolkits go live please complete the form to join our Toolkit Mailing List.
