Clive Parry

ARC England

What am I good at?

For a significant part of my adult social care career, I was involved in the delivery of employment support programmes for disabled people.

I also have experience of delivering statutory and non-statutory advocacy services as well as a range of learning disability services which include registered residential homes, supported living, respite and day services.

I am now the England Director for the Association for Real Change which is a membership body which supports 100 providers of care and support for people with a learning disability, autism or both.

How am I helping with the project?

I hope to bring insight into the challenges facing the sector, experience in improving practice and influencing policy, and access to our membership and other sector experts.

What is important to me?

I would like people with a learning disability and autistic people to have more choice and control in their lives, to be supported to live the lives they choose, to be able to develop and maintain the relationships that matter to them and to have their rights respected and upheld
