In 2023, Dr Sara Vannini's and Dr Sharon Wagg’s Knowledge Exchange (KE) project - Inclusive Digital Futures: Informing Debates and Services Roll Out in South Yorkshire, held a knowledge exchange event with South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA) bringing together digital inclusion stakeholders from across the four local authorities in the region (Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster, and Rotherham) and individuals from SYMCA. Policy recommendations developed from this project, were disseminated through an internal report, a policy document and a scribed animation, and were shared with SYMCA, to inform their Digital Infrastructure Strategy Delivery Plan.
