Mind the Gap: Tackling Digital Exclusion in Parliament
Terrace Pavillion in the House of Commons, Wednesday November 5th 2025
It was an honour to present the digital exclusion game, Mind the Gap, in parliament at the invitation of Steve Darling MP. The event was attended by a further 15 MPs as well as an audience of stakeholders from a variety of organisations, all interested in tackling digital exclusion. Team members from Age UK joined Dr Sara Vannini and Dr Sharon Wagg on the panel of experts.
The team at the University of Sheffield's Centre for Care managed the event, making it a huge success. The Good Things Foundation provided additional support on the day. Strong connections were made with parliamentarians. These new connections, along with existing and new connections with civil servants and other stakeholders, will continue to be built on to create positive and lasting change within the digital landscape.
