Department of Health's Pre-Service Scholarship Program (PSSP) for Pharmacy
The PSSP aims to increase availability of health care professionals who shall provide quality basic health care services to the un-served, underserved, hard to reach, economically underdeveloped, distressed, conflict and GIDA of the country.
BENEFITS
Tuition, laboratory, miscellaneous and other related school fees which shall be paid directly to the partner school
Subsidy and allowances provided directly to scholars, which includes living subsidy, lodging allowance, transportation allowance, book allowance, uniform allowance, and miscellaneous allowance;
Enrolment to Philhealth insurance for the duration of the scholarship.
REQUIREMENTS
Proof of Filipino citizenship (e.g. birth certificate);
Good moral character,
Certification of acceptance from the partner school
Affidavit of no existing scholarship grant
Certificate of residency from Barangay
Certification as members of Indigenous People or Minority group/ National Commission on Indigenous People (NCTP) Certificate
Certificate of Employment of parent / legal guardian for dependents of government employees, barangay health workers, traditional birth attendants, police/soldiers fatally wounded, killed on duty.
Certificate as proof of victim of calamities from Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office or Department of Social Welfare and Development

QUALIFICATION:
Low-income family
Passed the School Admission Test and other requirements
Members of Indigenous People or Minority group/ National Commission on Indigenous People (NCTP)
Dependent of Barangay health workers and other Government employee
Victims of Calamities
