Cordian Family Educational Assistance Program
Sacred Heart College of Lucena City, Inc. is committed to support families with multiple children (three or more siblings) enrolled in the institution. This program promotes educational continuity, strengthens family bonds, and supports the institution’s goals of retention, community engagement and accessible education.
1. Eligibility Criteria
Family Enrollment: The applicant must belong to families with three or more children enrolled at the Basic Education Department and Higher Education Department whose eldest child is enrolled at Higher Education Department qualify to this financial assistance program.
The discount applies to the ELDEST child at the Higher Education Department of families with three or more siblings enrolled concurrently in the institution.
Active Enrollment: All siblings must be actively enrolled and attending classes within the same academic year. Student who drops within two weeks of the semester or Academic Year is not considered enrolled.
Grade Requirement: The grantee (eldest college student) shall maintain a GWA of 80% and above per semester. Failure to meet the required GWA would mean disapproval of the educational assistance.

2. Discount Structure
A 20% discount on the tuition fee for the eldest student in the Higher Education Department during the first and second semesters for families with three siblings concurrently enrolled either from Kinder to College.
A 35% discount on the tuition fee for the eldest student in the Higher Education Department during the first and second semesters for families with four siblings concurrently enrolled either from Kinder to College.
A 50% discount on the tuition fee for the eldest student in the Higher Education Department during the first and second semesters for families with five or more siblings concurrently enrolled either from Kinder to College.
No duplication of school funded scholarship. If the grantee is already receiving external scholarship or grants, no more refund will be given.
3. Application Process
Application Form: Fill-out the Application Form available at the Registrar and Scholarship Office.
Required Documents:
New Applicants (first time applicants):
Photocopy of the birth certificates of all the siblings enrolled in a concurrent academic year.
Certificate of Registration of all the siblings enrolled in concurrent academic year.
Certified True of Copy of the previous semester Grades with GWA or photocopy of Form 138 (Report Card) of the grantee (eldest sibling).
Renewal (ongoing applicants)
Certificate of Registration of all the siblings enrolled in concurrent academic year.
Certified True of Copy of the previous semester Grades with GWA of the grantee (eldest sibling).
4. Terms and Conditions
Transferable: The discount is transferable only to the next enrolled eldest sibling in College in the current academic year provided that there are three or more children in the family studying at Sacred Heart College of Lucena City, Inc.
Adjustment for Withdrawals: If one or more siblings withdraw from the institution, the discount will be adjusted based on the new number of enrolled siblings. Discounts will not be applied if the grantee (eldest sibling) withdraws or dropped for whatever reason.
Disciplinary Aspect: Must consistently adhere to the policies and guidelines stipulated in the Student Handbook.
5. Review and Appeals
Review Process: The discount will be reviewed annually. Any changes or updates to the program will be communicated to families at least one month before the start of the new academic year.
Appeals: Families who believe they have been unfairly denied the discount can submit a written appeal to the Scholarship Committee. The decision of the committee will be final.

7. Program Updates
Policy Changes: The institution reserves the right to amend or discontinue the tuition fee discount program. Families will be properly notified of any changes or discontinuance of the financial assistance program.
