DC-SLMES Silver Jubilee One-Time Financial Assistance

RATIONALE

The Daughters of Charity – St. Louise de Marillac Educational System will celebrate its 25th year as a system this year 2023. To mark its significance, Sacred Heart College of Lucena City, Inc. on the occasion of the DC-SLMES Silver Jubilee provides one time financial assistance for the AY 2023-2024. This project is offered to desirous and deserving 25 Vincentian Cordian pupils/students who are from the striving family but academically capable. 

The DC-SLMES Silver Jubilee One-time Financial Assistance shall be launched on the celebration of the SHC’s Foundation day – 27 April 2023. Application and selection shall be held during the whole month of May 2023, and •the announcement of the 25 deserving recipients of the Financial Assistance shall be held on the school-based DC-SLMES Jubilee celebration, 27 September 2023.

BENEFIT

• For BED recipients, one time financial assistance amounting to Php 6,000 to be deducted from the total tuition and  miscellaneous fees for AY 2023-2024.

• For HED/ Graduate Education recipients, one time financial assistance amounting to Php 6,000 to be deducted from the total tuition and  miscellaneous fees for AY 2023-2024. (Php 3,000 for the 1st semester and Php 3,000 for the 2nd semester)

QUALIFICATION

• Belongs to a low-income family with three (3) or more dependents

• Child of single/solo parent/widow/widower

• Not a child of the Mission Partners

• Not an MG or recipient of other scholarship programs

• Consistent honor or dean’s lister pupil/student

• Without record of untoward behavior and violation of school’s rules and regulations

REQUIREMENTS

• Application Letter addressed to the President of Sacred Heart College of Lucena 

• City, Inc. shall be due on or before 31 May 2023 to be forwarded to the committee of the 

• School-based DC-SLMES Jubilee yearlong activities for review and finalization.

• Certified True Copy of Birth Certificate

• School report card

• Certification of Good Moral Character from the Guidance Office

• Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) of parents or certificate of exemption from the BIR

• Certificate of Tax Exemption from Bureau of Internal Revenue
