Our “earn and learn” model provides you with in-demand business technology training and matches you to a paid, meaningful year-long internship with a company during your senior year of high school. As a young professional, your unique perspective positively influences your company’s business and overall culture.
You develop professional skills, gain experience with a major corporation, earn $10,000-$15,000 during your senior year of high school, build an impressive resume, meet new students from other schools, and drive meaningful change within major corporations.
The Genesys Works program offers high school students the opportunity to gain professional skills through a hybrid Summer Training program and, for eligible participants, a paid, year-long internship at a partner company.
Summer Training:
This is an unpaid, hybrid program, where participants attend in-person sessions 2 days a week and engage virtually on the other days. Completion of the Summer Training program does not guarantee a year-long internship, but placement will be based on active participation, attendance, initiative, and quality of work.
Internship Placement:
Internships are primarily in-person, unless otherwise stated by Genesys Works. If selected for an internship, participants must commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week during the internship, which will take place Monday through Friday, between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Additionally, participants are expected to meet the minimum class requirements during their senior year of high school.
This program is designed for ambitious high school juniors who are eager to explore business technology and develop skills for a successful future career. To qualify, applicants must:
