How would you describe your EP to someone who has never heard of it before?
I would describe my EP as a fast-paced version of a regular college class schedule. Due to the shorter semester timeline, professors are a lot more flexible and understanding because everyone is over it.
What is a typical day like during your EP?
At first, it was really calming for the first three weeks, because I had nothing else to do. But, once I got my other college classes the typical day was getting redundant and exhausting. I couldn’t wait for it to be finally over.
What was the biggest challenge of your EP?
Two challenges that I encountered during my EP was getting the major assignment done, where I really had to force myself to get it over with. The other challenge was being truly passionate about the class because I felt so burnt out near the end because on the days I had my EP, I also had my other college classes so the day went from 9:30 to 5:00.
What was the biggest reward of your EP?
The biggest reward of my EP was the grade, I truly don’t know how I got an A. But, hey I’m not complaining!
What do you wish you had known before you went on your EP?
I wish I had known about doing a class that was more required-core heavy if that makes sense. I chose my class near February or March time, and then when the class finally came I wasn’t as passionate about the whole subject. Which I found strange because I was passionate about this subject for years, so I don’t know what happened. So, I wish I knew more in-depth guidance about the variety of classes that you can spend your time taking.
What advice do you have for future SEO scholars who are considering your EP?
Prepare yourself mentally and emotionally if you plan on doing other things while doing this EP at the same time. The reason why I state that is because the workload can get tiring and you just want it over with.
