Not all tools listed on this page are approved for Grading. Tools that are subscription-based or are add-ons to google must be vetted by CETL, IT, and approved by CRAA to use for grading. Tools that have been approved for grading are marked accordingly.

Padlet is a web-based interactive whiteboard with an easy to use interface of easy to use templates collaborative projects.

Collaborative apps what allow the creation of different kinds of online documents that can be worked on in real time with others.  The documents are stored on Google Drive.

Jamboard is a digital interactive whiteboard that has been available from Google as part of the Google workplace since 2016.

Google Forms is a web-based app used to create forms for data collection purposes. Data gathered using the form is typically stored in a spreadsheet. 

Google Meet is a real-time video conferencing tool by Google. Using your browser, share your video, desktop, and presentations and chat with colleagues in virtual meetings.

Kahoot is an online game-based learning platform. It allows teachers, organizations, and parents to set up fun web-based learning for others. Kahoot can be used as a fun trivia activity to do with members of your organization or coaches to use with their players about the sport or just a series of fun questions. 


NOTE: Make each Kahoot that you create PRIVATE so that students cannot access your Kahoots before you share them. Watch the video that Professor Glenn created to change each Kahoot from public to private.

Quizizz is a web-based quizzing platform that allows for self-paced or competition style quizzing using multiple question formats. 

Jeopardy Labs is a website where users can create and customize their own jeopardy game templates for free. 

Simple, free video discussions to make learning fun, fulfilling, and empowering. 

Slido is a web-based polling application that also can be used for quiz challenges, word clouds, and surveys. 

PearDeck for Google Slides (Add-on)

Effortlessly build engaging content right from google slides.

Nearpod is an online educational platform. It allows teachers and administrators to create interactive learning experiences directly with other instructional tools and software. 

Quizlet is a global learning platform that provides engaging study tools to help people practice and master whatever they’re learning. 

Mentimeter is an online platform that allows you to interact with students by asking them questions using live polls, word clouds, quizzes, and multiple-choice questions.
