My name is Norma Bonney, and I am the Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, or CETL, here at the college. CETL was developed to assist our faculty in transitioning to the world of teaching. Many subject matter experts (SMEs) excel in their fields but have limited experience in teaching or facilitating that knowledge to others. Over time, we have developed sessions to help you make that transition from a SME to an expert in education.Here at the college, our courses are either online or blended. You will have a self-paced orientation, which you will begin by clicking "Start Course" below. In addition to that, you will have the opportunity to move through the Teaching Fundamentals Course. This online course will provide valuable information for teaching the various types of courses we teach here at the College. Between your program coordinator, your mentor, and CETL, you will be assigned to complete portions of the Teaching Fundamentals course that fit your teaching assignment to help you get started on the right foot!We are very excited about what we have to offer you to facilitate your growth as an educator!
