Meet the Team

Norma Bonney, M.Ed., B.S.

Director of CETL

My experience in education began when I graduated in 1995 with my degree from Norfolk State University with  BS in mathematics and a secondary education minor. I taught middle and high school mathematics for much of my 28 year career in education.  In 2010, I earned my M.Ed. degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in technology from Grand Canyon University, and I am currently pursuing my EdD in Adult Education. I enjoy supporting teachers in educational best practices, curriculum writing, teaching with technology, and exploring learning assessment. My experiences encompass a variety of classroom and instructional specialist experiences focusing on these areas. In February 2020, I joined the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) team at SCOHS as an Instructional Designer and began as Director in June 2022.  I look forward to getting to know and working with all of you!
