December's Soiree
It was a fun-filled evening of laughter and chatter. The relationships we are building in our FLCs are paramount! It's difficult to keep up with all of the conversations and ideas that we share while stuffing our faces! These are just some of the ideas that we were gifted with!
- Using Google Slides between freshman and seniors to provide mentoring between cohorts. (Cindy)
- Integrating Google Docs as Exam Reviews that are generated by students and "verified" by the professor with an * for items that are deemed important. (Tonya)
- Students decided to generate their Google document to help in their clinical course and shared it among themselves (Barbera)
- In the discussion board, a "Test Review" topic was created for each test. A link to a Google document was entered in the DB for student questions about the upcoming test. A table was created on this document with a column for the student's clarifying question and a column for the faculty's response. Students can reference this document when studying for the upcoming test and final cumulative exam.
