The Ski, Snowboard and Mt. Bike Academy will continue learning through the online platform of Google Classrooms. Although learning materials, communication, and assessment will continue thought this platform, it will obviously not be possible to replace the valuable learning through guided exploration that takes place normally within this program.

I will use the Stream to post daily tasks and expectations, while assignments will be posted in the Classwork. We will continue with learning of the four courses, which will require you to actively engage in your learning and present it through the classroom. You will not be surprised by any of the tools, tasks, or expectations as we have been using this all semester; but we will explore the extent to which these online tools can support your learning during this time. For example, Google Meet will be used to connect as a class, and also for tutorials and lessons.

Parents, you can be attached to your child's Google Classroom and can get updates from the program. Please email me at dtreadway@sd48.bc.ca to be added to your child's classroom.
