Mrs. Sarah Chung has enjoyed working at SCOPE for the last five years. She previously taught for eleven years with the North Olmsted City Schools as an intervention specialist. She has experience working with children with a wide range of learning difficulties. She has worked with learners in grades kindergarten through fifth grade in pull-out and inclusion settings. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Hiram College and a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from Kent State University. She holds a K-12 teaching license for students with learning disabilities and a 1-8 elementary education license with a K-12 reading endorsement. Mrs. Chung looks forward to teaching fourth grade for the 2025/26 school year.

Mrs. Rebekah Hill serves children at S.C.O.P.E. as the school’s Intervention Specialist. Mrs. Hill has been teaching for 18 years. She was an Intervention Specialist for Constellation Schools for 11 years and Struthers Elementary School for 2 years. This is her eighth year at S.C.O.P.E. She has had experience leading her own class for students with multiple learning, communicative, and physical disabilities in Grades K-5. She has also had experience working with students in inclusive settings, as well as pull-out programs. At S.C.O.P.E., Mrs. Hill works with teachers in inclusive settings to give students the least restrictive services possible. She will occasionally work with students outside of the classroom for direct and specialized instruction as needed. Mrs. Hill believes that all students have the ability to learn and succeed, when given curriculum and supports that are presented at an individual level. She is a supporter that all students deserve high quality education and that inclusion should be provided to all students. She has a passion for learning and keeping up with the new practices and techniques in Special Education. She has a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Intervention and K-12 Intervention from the University of Akron. She has attended many workshops and classes over the years, and is Highly Qualified in all four core areas in Grades 5-12. Rebekah completed the Wilson Reading Program Introductory Course to implement the program to learners who would benefit. Rebekah currently attended Shawnee State University and successfully added the Intervention Specialist: Visual Impairment license to her credentials.
