Croeso i’r Blwyddyn 2!

We cannot wait to see our Year 2 pupils grow and develop this year… we have so many exciting things in store for you all! 

We will be continuing to develop reading and writing skills through Read, Write Inc and literacy sessions. We will also be enjoying exciting maths and problem solving sessions. 

We will be going to Forest School throughout the year to explore and experiment in the outdoor environment. 

Our topics will be linked to our local area, our world and to celebrations. Through our topics we will be exploring creatively, thinking inquisitively and developing independent, lifelong learners. 

In year 2 there will be lots of opportunity to develop new skills independently during ‘My Time to Shine’... we can’t wait to see what you can all do! 

This Year we have two Year 2 classes. 

Dosbarth Oren is taught by Mrs Clarke until Mrs Skellon returns from Maternity leave and is supported by Miss Dodd. 

Dosbarth Pinc is taught by Mrs Willis (Mon, Tues Wed) and Mrs Wilson (Wed, Thurs, Fri) and supported by Miss Coles.
