Some kindergarten classes are learning about triangles by making paper mice as seen below. This little creature's body is in the shape of a triangle. The tip of the triangle is folded down to reveal a second triangle head and the arms are the other two angles folded inward. 

Second Grade

Recently possible UFO's have been in the news. Fifth graders are exploring the curiosity an alien might have, flying above a forest on Earth. Students are learning about contrast, emphasis and texture in a work of art while focusing on elements students believe aliens would be intrigued to see on Earth.
