SWBAT:
1..create a new AI file for MAKING Intricate SHAPES
2...use the PATHFINDER options to make NEW SYMMETRICAL shapes out of their pen tool Silhouettes.
3...use only the DEFAULT FILL & STROKE and understand that they will be EDITING COLOR in PHOTOSHOP LATER

Use the Chrome browser
3. Column 1: Paste Silhouettes

1. Open your Silhouettes file
2. Shift click and select your three shapes
3. Edit > Copy
4. Open your Intricate Symmetry file
5. Edit > Paste
6. Change the fill and stroke to the default white fill and black stroke
It is important to set the fill and stroke to the default white and black
4. Column 2: Copy, and Reflect Shapes

1. Select all the shapes
2. Option drag them to copy them into the next column
3. Double click on the reflect tool and choose Vertical, 90, Copy
.
5. Column 3: Pathfinder > Unite

1. Option - Drag the 6 shapes to the 3rd column
2. Select the top left shape and its reflection
3. Window > Pathfinder
4. Choose Unite (the 1st option on the 1st row)
5. Select the middle left shape and its reflection
6. Pathfinder > Unite
7. Select the bottom left shape and its reflection
8. Pathfinder > Unite
6. Column 4: Pathfinder > Divide

1. Option - Drag the 6 shapes from column 2 to the 4th column this time
1. Select the top right shape and its reflection
2. Window > Pathfinder
3. Choose Divide (the 1st option on the 2nd row)
4. Select the middle right shape and its reflection
5. Pathfinder > Divide
6. Select the bottom right shape and its reflection
7. Pathfinder > Divide
