This year, Year 4 will be taking home colour banded books from the library. These bands have been generated from the Accelerated Reading app.
Once your child has finished reading their library book, they can log onto Accelerated Reading and take a quiz using this link.

Pupils will see a log in page that looks like this:
Username: First name + first letter of last name without spaces.
Password: school21
Once logged in, pupils will see these options.
By clicking on Accelerated Reader, they will find they will be able to search for the book they have read.
When pupils have completed the quiz, their teacher will be able to see their score. This is a great way to check that children are understanding what they are reading.
Pupils in year 4 change their book every Friday.
Please ensure that pupils are writing their own comments in their reading record in order to receive dojo points. They must read at least 5 times a week to receive these points.
