The e-Business Academy, is a pathway for students interested in learning how to start and manage their own business. In this academy students have the opportunity to be part of our Coffee Cart, Student Store, or our Dj Club.
If you are a student interested in starting your own business, and would like the experience of running a business, then this academy is for YOU. The e-Business Academy gives students the opportunity to work for our Coffee Cart, at our Student Store, or in our Dj Club.
In this Academy, you will learn how to work and manage the Coffee Cart if you are interested in the Food and Hospitality services. You can also learn how to run and manage a retail store if you are interested in retail services. Or you will learn how to operate your own Dj business if you are interested in the entertainment services.
Sophomore Year - Soft Skills and Personal Finance
SOFT SKILLS include interpersonal (people) skills, communication skills, listening skills,
time management, problem-solving, leadership, teamwork, and empathy.
PERSONAL FIANACE In Personal Finance, you will learn how to make better financial decisions with your money. You will learn about earning, saving, budgeting, and saving for retirement.
Junior Year - Financial Literacy
FINANCIAL LITERACY Through Financial Literacy, you will learn to make informed decisions about your money. This course reinforces good financial habits and responsible borrowing. Students here also learn about planning for college and how to pay for it.
Senior Year - Entrepreneurship
ENTREPRENEURSHIP In this course, you will learn the basics of entrepreneurship. This will put you in a path towards starting your own business. You will also learn to see the needs around your community and how you can start a business to meet those needs.
Certifications available for you to earn:
10th and 12th grade eBusiness students who do well in class (As and Bs) earn college credits for Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint proficiency.
