Project: Create your own animal! Time to get creative and show your new learning by creating your own animal which belongs in one of the groups you explored.
Show your animal by drawing, painting, building, creating it out of objects at home, or designing in another creative way…YOUR CHOICE!

Tell about characteristics your animal has that prove it belongs in the animal group.
Examples - Below are some examples to get your brains thinking about ideas that interest you. Feel free to mix and match the ideas below or come up with your own way to show what you have learned!
Make your animal with objects you find outside in nature. Write a song or poem to share its characteristics and the animal group it belongs to.
Draw or paint your animal on paper. The characteristics can be labeled around the animal.
Create your animal on the computer. Find a way to include the name, animal group, and characteristics on the page.
Form your animal out of clay. Make a video telling about the characteristics your animal and explain which animal group it belongs in.
