About Jacquelyn
Hello! I am an Education Specialist for TRACE School. I am currently in my 14th year teaching. I spent six years teaching in Minneapolis Public Schools, and eight years teaching in San Diego Unified Schools - Grades K-12. This is my first year working at TRACE, based out of Montgomery Middle School in the Linda Vista Area. I feel very thankful to be working with such a positive staff and amazing students on a daily basis, sharing my passion in teaching Community Based Instruction.
I am originally from Apple Valley, Minnesota where most of my family still lives including my parents, brother, and sisters. Outside of school I enjoy spending my time with family, friends, running, practicing yoga, playing beach volleyball and travelling! One of my favorite things is to travel and immerse myself into different cultures. Some of my favorite places I have lived for a summer include: Quito, Ecuador; Lucca, Italy; and London, England. My next adventure is hopefully to Uganda or Kenya in Africa this upcoming year!
