About Marco
My name is Marco Reyes and I have had the privilege of being a part of TRACE since 2017. I am also thrilled to say this is my 8th year teaching special education.
Together with a team of amazing and creative teachers, support providers and assistants, I am committed to providing you, the student, and your families with a loving and developmentally sound foundation for a lifetime of learning.
I was born and raised in Peru until I moved when I was 16 years old. In 2012, I graduated from San Diego State University with a Masters in Education. I began my teaching career at Sherman Elementary (K-5) as an Education Specialist for students with moderate to severe disabilities. I taught three years as an adjunct faculty in San Diego State University’s teaching credential program.
Currently, I live in the South Bay with my wife, Violeta, and my two girls (Luna and Liah). I enjoy making music, watching movies, and spending time with my family.
