What is Agency ? 

Teachers and students develop collaborative and trusting relationships. Students are given voice and choice in their learning through meaningful and relevant experiences. Students become citizens and contributors in the classroom preparing them to enter the world beyond school. 

The STEAM curriculum incorporates Habits of Mind in each lesson and invites students to reflect on their development of their Habits of Mind to support student agency.
