STEAM MOOC
MOOC (MAssive Open Online Course)
STEAM MOOCs on each K-4 grade level project are being created in Coursera. These are asynchronous online courses for teachers to gain a deeper understanding of each project's components and to develop ideas around STEAM facilitation.
Any K-4 teacher who completes 3 STEAM MOOCs can receive 1 CEU. Teachers must choose between receiving pay or a CEU. It is not possible to receive both. If a teacher prefers to be paid, they can receive up to 8 hours of pay for completing 2 STEAM MOOCs (4 hours for each MOOC). Any MOOCs completed beyond the 2 will be not be paid by STEAM.
This is an example of the Grade 1 STEAM MOOC (Massive Open Online Course). Please ignore the language of "Weeks", that is Coursera's formatting that we cannot change.
