Final Draft Floor Plan

For section C, you are going to re-draw and refine your building(s) floor plan. Section C of the Inspection Record has 12 inspections that you need signed off. 

1. Choose a type of graph paper to use. We strongly recommend that you use 1/10" graph paper. 

2. We require that you use a scale of 1 box = 0.5 feet.

3. Draw just your building(s) to scale.

4. Draw interior walls that divide your different rooms. This time, you must include wall thickness. All walls are 0.5 feet thick.

5. Label your exterior and interior walls alphabetically. Include the length of all walls next to the letter that represents them.

6. Show the location of your windows and doors. Label your egress windows.

7. Label all of your rooms (Kitchen, Bedroom, Bathroom, etc...). 

8. Don't forget that you need a ratio table for section C of the Inspection Record. This ration table may or may not be the same as the ratio table from section B.
