A registered Samhita / CGF Staff can create a Project on the Samhita Platform. On the main side menu, there is an option called "Create Project" which on clicking will open the Project Creation Screen.
There are few sections in the Create Project Screen:
Project Details:
The Project Details section captures basic details of the Project like Project Name, Program Name to which this Project is associated with, Key and Sub Interventions, Project Timeline, Project Description, Tagline and Keywords. Additionally, a Project Profile and Cover Image can be added as well.
Entity Details:
The Entity Details section captures details of the Client and the Partner MOU details, Budget and Number of Participants associated with each of them.
On Uploading an MOU, there is an MOU Signing Process, in which either the User who is creating the Project has to sign the MOU by providing a confirmation else the person responsible will login to the Platform, select their name and then provide the Sign off confirmation.
The Sign off against an MOU can be provided by selecting one's own name (since the dropdown will only show the name of the person logged in, i.e. no person can sign off on behalf of the anyone) and clicking the Sign off button which will show a confirmation popup which on confirming will add the name of the person who signed off the MOU as a tag. In case if that same user wants to revert back the signoff process, a close button is provided on the name which on clicking will remove the name from the Signoff process.
There can be multiple instances of the Clients and Partners that can be associated with the project which can also be added as well.
Participants Enrollment:
This section helps us to enroll the participants in the project in bulk form. It also allows us to download the list of participants enrolled in the project with IP ID and mobile numbers.
Deliverables / Activities / Tasks:
This section describes the list of Deliverables that are pertaining to the success of the project, the activities associated with a deliverable/s and the tasks which captures last line details under an activity. There can be multiple instances of the Deliverables / Activities / Tasks maintained.
Other Details:
This section highlights some secondary project details that inculcate the minute aspects of the Project being implemented like Primary Area of Focus, Primary Participants, SPOC, Project Output, Impact, Outcomes, and Location details of the Project.
Once all the required fields are added, and Click submit, then the Project will be added successfully on the Samhita Platform.
Once a Project is created and Save Project is clicked, a new section will appear on the Same Page called "Data Collection". This section is where, the Samhita / CGF User can create Forms, Surveys or Questionnaires which are required as data collection points for the Project. There are 3 ways in which a Form can be created:
Start from Scratch:
The start from scratch is an option that can be used to create a Form using the Samhita's Form Builder, and then publish this form to the assigned IP for them to utilize this form for enrolling or capturing responses of participants.
Create Form at SurveyCTO:
Samhita Platform will also have the option to create a Form on the SurveyCTO Platform, which provides advanced features like business logic based features to create dynamic forms.
Used Saved Forms:
There is also an option to use already published forms that can be duplicated and modified as per the Project requirement and then publish the same.
