What is a Deliverables?
Your project can be divided into different locations or different implementation partners. If your project is happening across Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, your supercategories can be these 4. If you are working with multiple training partners, you can divide your project in different supercategories according to that. Your activities, tasks, milestones and budget would be divided into these supercategories.
How to Use?
Under the Budget tab, go to ‘Manage Deliverables’ - The Deliverables can be edited and added in the next tab
What is an Activity?
Any ongoing element of the program which is then divided into tasks. Ideally, each supercategory should have atleast two activities.
Example: A project involving repairs and refurbishment of toilet blocks in 9 schools, following activities are present1.Refurbishment of toilet 2.Operation and maintenance 3.Behavioural change communication
What is a Task?
A component of an activity which is more detailed. Ideally, keep a task for less than a month. You can also create a dependency between two tasks. Example: Under activity ‘Refurbishment of Toilet’, task would be hiring of project staff
What is a Milestone?
Any accomplishment made on your project on completion of tasks within any activity. Example: Construction of 20 toilets in Andheri. How to use? - Go to ‘Activity and Milestones’ -
This graph will tell you about the planned vs actual comparison in task completion. It will help you to see if your project is on track.
