A PCS Admin can login to the Samhita Platform (Link: https://app.samhita.org/login) access the PCS using their Samhita Account using Google Sign on/.
Once successfully logged in, navigate to the Services option and click on the PCS Admin Service.
The question builder will enable creation of the Questions for the PCS. To create a question, click on the Create Question button in the Question Builder.
The following details for a question can be added:
Question Name
Question Type - Currently 4 types that is Short Text and Single Choice, Number and Multichoice options
Pillar Name - The Pillar Name for the question can be selected
Sub Pillar Name - The Sub Pillar Name for the question can be selected based on the Pillar selected
Tag - Tag names can only consist of alphabets and underscores. Special characters, numbers, and whitespaces are not permitted. Response tags can be added for the responses captured for the question. These tags will be useful while creating formulae in the Formula Builder
Tag Description - The Tag description will help identify the details of the tag in the Formula Builder
Top Metric - The top metric checkbox will enable a question to become a top metric for grading of the pre credit score
If question - This option is enabled in case of Single choice question type selected which would enable nesting of questions under a question. For e.g. if the first question is "Do you have a bank account?" then the nested question can be provided as "Enter your bank account number" if the response to the previous question is "Yes". For the nested question, the question name, question type (single choice, multiple choice, short text, number) and tag can be provided.
The question builder also provides relevant filters to search, sort and provision to preview questions as well.
The already created can be edited with some fields and also duplicated as well to use the same question or if the question needs to be deleted then that is also available.
Note: Questions to be used in grading or calculations they have to be add in one of the pillars.
A new feature has been implemented for improving customisation of questions for Lenders. The new option is called "Manage Lender Questions" which has a matrix structure.
The columns (except the first column) are the Lender names and the rows are the list of questions that are live for the PCS Version.
Each Lender to Question block has a Yes / No toggle. If Yes is selected then the question will be available with the Lender and if No then the question would not reflect for the Lender when capturing single and bulk responses.
Please note that there will only be one PCS version that will have to live for the questions to be visible in this section. When the changes are saved, if the respective lenders login and try to capture the participant responses for the PCS , the questions toggled as Yes will be shown to the Lender and the Bulk Upload Template will be accordingly generated for the Lender.
The Formula Builder enables the PCS Admin to create the formula which will be used for the calculation. To create a Formula the Create Formula button. The following options are available for creating the formula:
Formula Name: Formula Name should be unique and they are limited to alphabets, underscores, and whitespaces only. Special characters and numbers are not permitted in formula names.
Formula Description: A description for the formula can be added which will help in identify formulas easily
Formula: This is where the actual formula can be created using a combination of Tags, Operators, Numbers, Functions and Formulas. All base formulas must be enclosed within parentheses. For a detailed overview of the formula creation hierarchy, please refer to the Formulas Reference Sheet: Formulas Sheet
Tags : This provides the list of question response tags which can be used to create a formula
Operators : Different operators like addition, substraction etc. can be used for different operations of the formula
Numbers : Numerical values can be used in creation of the formula
Functions : Different functions like min, max, avg, etc. can be used for formula creation
Formulas : A new formula can also be created using the existing formulae
Top Metric: The formula can also be marked as a metric as well
Test Formula: There is also a provision to test a formula, to verify the end result coming out from the formula
Edit Formula: There is also the provision now to Edit the formula, in case any changes would need to be done to the Formula that is created.
Formulas that are live will also get highlighted in a similar way how questions which are live are highlighted.
Note:
1. In the Formula Builder, if a zero division error occurs in the calculation of the Top Metric, it will be skipped from the final PCS calculation. To address this issue, when the Top Metric box is checked, the user will be provided with an input field to enter a default value in case a zero division error occurs. Once the zero division error is handled by providing the default value, the Top Metric will no longer be skipped from the final PCS score calculation.
For instance, let's consider the example of Current Ratio being a Top Metric with the formula (Total Cash / EMI). If the EMI value is 0, a zero division error will occur. To handle this scenario, the user will input a default value in the provided field. This ensures that the Current Ratio is included in the entire calculation process, even if a zero division error occurs.
2. If there are two different sets of formulas, it's advisable to use an identifier to distinguish between them. For instance, if two different lenders or PCS versions have distinct formulas for EBITDA, you can create two EBITDA formulas with identifiers. For example, "EBITDA" and "EBITDA_vtwo" where the latter includes the identifier "_vtwo" to differentiate between the two sets of formulas.
3. When there are different sets of formulas for different lenders, it's crucial to include all relevant questions for each lender in the Questions Mapping. This ensures that all tags contributing to those formulas are accounted for. Failure to include all necessary tags in the Questions Mapping may result in the formula being skipped entirely from the calculation process. Therefore, it's essential to thoroughly review and include all relevant questions for each lender to ensure accurate evaluation of the formulas.
The Metric Builder enables creation of metrics which aids in calculation of the Pre Credit Score. To create a metric, click on the Create Metric button to open the metric creator window. The following options are available:
Select the Metric: Here either the question top metric or the formula top metric can be selected
Pillar Name: The Pillar name gets autopopulated if the top metric question is created, else it can be manually selected.
Sub Pillar Name: The Sub Pillar name gets autopopulated if top metric question is created, else it can be manually selected.
Option Choice: The option choice includes Single Choice and Multiple Choice
Weightage: Weightage value can be entered here (multiplier factor)
Logic: In case of multiple choice options, the logic option gets enabled which will provide Highest, Average and Lowest option for consideration of the metric
Option Names: The options of the questions are populated here.
Grade: The grade for each option can be entered from here.
Once a metric is created then, the metric can be copied, edited or deleted. Filters are available to show relevant datapoints and metrics
The PCS List is where the questions, formula and metrics created will be published. For creating a PCS Version, click on Create PCS after which a PCS Version name can be provided. Once the PCS Version is created, there is an add icon against this PCS version, and by clicking on it the following options will be available:
The list of questions against each of the Pillars are shown. The required questions can be selected using the checkbox against each question
Once the Questions are selected, each question will have an order number which has to be unique across the entire PCS List.
Once both the above the process are done, then the changes can be saved.
Now the PCS Version is ready to be published, which can only be done if no other PCS version is published. The publish button can be clicked and the PCS version gets published for surveyors / bulk uploaders to add data
There is also a logs list, which can be referred in case of auditing the PCS, in case of changes in the questions done.
