PCS Bulk Uploader

A PCS Bulk Uploader can upload responses of multiple participants at a time, and PCS responses can be calculated together. To achieve this, in the Participants > Onboard Partcipant Screen, there is a link called "Bulk PCS Upload" which can be used for bulk uploading PCS Responses. On clicking the link the following sections are shown in the page:

1. Browse Section: The browse section is where the template file will be uploaded by the Uploader

2. Bulk PCS Upload Template: This section is where the template for the Bulk PCS Upload can be downloaded.

3. PCS Upload Logs: This section is where the logs for the uploaded files will be shown whether the files are successfully uploaded or not.

Based on the Bulk Uploading of the files, relevant validations will pop up for the Bulk Uploader, if there are any errors in the file. Please do note that the Bulk Upload format is exactly the same as the questions provided for the Surveyor during single PCS response capturing.

There is a new update on the Bulk Upload of PCS wherein based on the Lender who has logged in to the Platform, the relevant Bulk Upload Template will be available for the Lender to download. For any column where nested questions are not there but only simple values are expected, for e.g. like a multi choice question without the expectation of adding any amount for the option selected, for this scenario the value expected to be entered is "T" which means true for the option column. If the option is not applicable, it can be left blank. Now in case of the scenario where a multi choice question is expecting a value of the option selected, then in the field, the amount / value needs to be entered instead of "T". For e.g. if the question is Which type of vehicle do you have? and one of the options is Two wheeler, wherein the cost of the two wheeler needs to be mentioned then the expected input would be the cost of the two wheeler (for .e.g. 45000) and not "T".

Please also note that once a Bulk Upload File is downloaded, please import the sheet into Google Sheets rather than Microsoft Excel and then prepare the file since there is a compatibility issue that is there. Also please take care of adding the correct values in the respective columns, i.e. if T is expected to be entered, please only enter "T" and if amount is expected only enter amount. If there are any discrepancies found, the Bulk Upload Template button will be disabled and will only get active once the file is deleted by the Tech Team.

FAQs

1. Getting this error: option selected

for ‘Number of monetarily paid employees?’ is invalid

Answer: Open the template and update the datatype of the entire column for this

question from "General" to "Text" in Excel. Then, select

values from the drop-down. If the datatype is not changed, Excel will interpret

the options selected as dates and hence will throw an error.

2. What happens when the user adds NA

for any option?

Answer: Those fields will be excluded from the calculation.
