School Crossings and Drive Through
St Augustine’s College prioritises the safety of our students and staff, especially when entering and exiting the College grounds.
School Crossings
All children who travel by foot, bicycle or car should enter and exit on Church Street, where a Shire Crossing Supervisor oversees the crossing in the morning and at dismissal. Children may also be dropped off and collected in Tulloh Street, where there is another supervised crossing area. Bus travellers only use the McCormick Road entrance. Parents should not collect children at McCormick Road.
Drive-through
Church Street Drive-Through
When entering Church Street Drive Through, move as far down as possible, staying left to avoid blocking traffic flow.
If the Church Street drive-through is full, please complete a drive around the block and re-enter.
Parish House entry is to be clear at all times.
Students are to always enter and exit vehicles from the footpath side (west side).
Church Street and Tulloh Entry and Exits
Students should always walk, ride or be picked up by parents and only use the Church Street or Tulloh Street exits.
Years 5-12 students using the Tulloh Street crossing will exit from the gate between the Tolle Lege and Strength and Kindliness buildings. Students needing to cross Tulloh Street must use the supervised Tulloh Street crossing.
