Parental/Family Engagement
Volunteering
Parents/caregivers are invited to assist at various times across the school year, including on occasions eg. with class activities, in joining the Core Group, helping with Mothers & Fathers' Day stalls and for St Augustine's Feast Day celebrations.
In order to comply with Child Safe Standards, all volunteers must hold a current Working with Children's Check, present a written application including names of referees and meet with College Leader beforehand. Application forms can be obtained from the office.

College Advisory Council
The College Advisory Council is an advisory body for the Principal and is an active forum for parents and community participation, providing support and advice primarily in the areas of strategic planning and school improvements.
Membership
Prior to the expiry of the term of office for elected members, nominations will be invited through the College newsletter. All parents are invited to nominate via a signed statement of intention provided to the Principal by the designated date.
The Council's strategic leadership includes:
Renewal and development of the Vision of the school
Support for the development, implementation and review of school policies in line with CES policies
VRQA compliance requirements.
Collaborative development of the school improvement plan and the annual action plan.
Oversight of the annual budget, financial statements and capital planning.
