Update I've handed out some brief instructions to our version of the cardboard chair challenge. This is an introduction to design thinking and engineering. I'm using concepts from several of the lessons I' ve seen and morphing them into what the students want to design. We've agreed to be a bit more lenient than some of the design challenges. Students will be able to use cardboard, duct tape and glue. Students can paint and bedazzle the finished product.
